Position hired as a Systems Safety and Reliability Engineer, SSRS, in the Safety, Quality, Mission Assurance Department, Tucson, AZ

Position Summary:
The Principal Safety/Reliability Engineer will be the Safety, Quality & Mission Assurance groupís point of contact on several Human Spaceflight and Environmental Control Life Support System (ECLSS) programs/projects, starting with contract award through the sustaining portion of their life cycle. The SRM Engineer must have an understanding of the product development process from design through delivery including program planning, requirements development, system/product design, and hardware/software. Responsible for reviewing designs to ensure Safety/Reliability requirements are met, perform Safety & Reliability Analyses to demonstrate requirement compliance and trend/analyze failure data and determine & implement corrective actions.

Description of Duties:

Systems Safety
  • Conducts hazard analysis, using Mil-Std-882, ARP 4761 and 4754.
  • Conducts System Safety Analysis (including Fault Tree Analysis) and Failure Modes, Effects & Criticality Analysis (FMECA), develops hazard reports and facilitates safety review boards.

Reliability and Maintainability

  • Supports Engineering in analyzing and ensuring reliability, maintainability and safety of ECLSS and components per mil standards.
  • Conducts, assesses and predicts the reliability of ECLSS, parts, and system.
  • Designs and conducts highly accelerated life tests (HALT) and other prediction testing.
  • Establishes maintainability predictions and correlating maintenance plans or checklists.
  • Conducts analysis on systems, sub-systems and parts to identify potential safety hazards including function and hazard.
  • Completes risk analysis on components and systems.
  • Performs Root Cause Analyses, Failure Modes, Effects & Criticality Analysis (FMECA), and developing SDRLs.

Additional Duties

  • Responsible for the maintenance of the H&S management system (work processes, standards, and procedures) in order to meet business objectives and to maintain the license to operate.
  • Provides hands-on SHE activities for the Tucson facility. Coordinates, implements, executes tasks and maintains the SHE program to achieve Safety, Health and Environmental goals and objectives within the scope of this role.

  • Ability to obtain the Board of Certified Safety Professionals Certified Safety Professional designation (ASP/CSP).
  • Have or the ability to obtain the ASQ CRE (American Society of Quality Certified Reliability Engineer certification).

Position Summary:
The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for the overall quality management system of the company. The QA Manager must have in depth knowledge of the ISO and AS standards and be able to implement them across the board. The QA Manager must be able to resolve issues, issue and respond to CAís and PAís, manage nonconforming product, and be the Quality Management System Representative. The QA Manager must be personable and able to interact with various customers efficiently. Interaction with internal personnel is also vital for implementation of a quality management system that is to be embraced by all employees.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Quality Assurance Manager is a working manager that oversees the daily operations of the Quality department and ensures the site(s) Quality Management System (QMS) is established, maintained and improved upon and must be able to perform the following tasks effectively and efficiently:

  • Provide leadership in the balancing of compliance practices with other business initiatives to allow all objectives of the business to be satisfied.
  • Responsible for managerial and technical leadership of the Quality staff which includes overseeing professionals and/or technical level direct reports in the completion of Quality processes and improvement programs
  • Drives the development of robust processes that affect the quality of the product by planning, coordinating, and executing tactical department projects and corporate initiatives to meet established deadlines and policy deployment objectives
  • Responsible for monitoring and analyzing processes and/or product outputs, identifying systemic problems and opportunity areas, providing data and direction to the site(s), and work with team members to drive process improvements to work toward zero-defect quality performance.

Position Summary: Responsible for the research, design, implementation, maintenance and the secure and reliable operation of Paragon Space Development’s information systems in support of its business needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming Service Desk calls and provide first response for users requiring assistance.

Position Summary:
Systems Engineer for design and development of an ECLSS subsystem for a commercial spaceflight provider.†Work with customers to develop technical concepts and finalize customer-provided product specifications.†Define internal requirements for product design, assembly, test, and validation. Support program management tasks including team building, day-to-day team management and coordination, schedule development and tracking, budget performance monitoring, and reporting.

Required Skills / Education:

  • Bachelorís degree (or above) in Mechanical, Bio-mechanical, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent field and at least 5 years with system and /or hardware design experience in the Aerospace Industry
  • Knowledge and experience on aerospace projects and components (commercial and Government) from requirements definition to build and test, in at least one of the following discipline areas: ECLSS Systems Design, Crew systems and Crew Cabin Design, Design formulation, and/or Human Factors. Position Summary:

Supervisor: CFO

Position Summary: Manage financial details about all Paragon activities that will assist management, its shareholders and other users in making educated economic decisions about Paragonís future. Perform professional accounting activities for specialized, complex and/or functional areas requiring the expert knowledge and professional application of accounting principles, practices and techniques in accordance with industry standards, current laws and company policy.

Description of Duties:

  • Prepare reports that summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations
  • Reconcile all accounts monthly
  • Maintain records and files of capital equipment. Ensure accurate depreciation allocations and determine depreciation schedules in conjunction with the CFO
  • Maintain and process payroll records and reports for accounting of salary/wages due, accruals, deductions and other payroll functions
  • Generate accurate preliminary statements within 10 days of the last day of an accounting month
  • Compile financial, tax and payroll reports for both internal and external purposes
