From the Sanskrit word for sharpening stone, the word paragon means a model of excellence, and we aim to embody this definition in everything we do. The company name originates from my great-grandfather's business, which began making Paragon Propellers in 1910. His firm supplied 70% of the allied forces' propellers during WWI.

Paragon is a hard charging company with an adventuresome spirit that was formed by Biospherians and Space scientists and engineers who wanted to change the future by creating life support that would allow humans to expand beyond their limits. Paragon’s founders, board members, executives and employees are motorcycle racers, extreme surfers, competitive bikers, scuba diving masters, white-water kayakers, and world adventurers. We know how to push the limits and the need for the most reliable support equipment.
Paragon crafted a Vision, Mission and Touchstones in our early days “to shoot for the moon” and we are now building spacesuits and spacecraft that will do just that. Our spirit and products align with our brand – “Life has no limits.”
