SOE / ESR (CSE)
Paragon and ENrG are teaming to provide a solid oxide electrolysis (SOE) system with embedded Sabatier reactors (ESR) by leveraging a Corning all-ceramic, efficient, and low mass solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) that remains leak-tight after hundreds of thermal cycles. The all-Ceramic SOE/ESR (CSE) system converts water/carbon monoxide/carbon dioxide into oxygen and methane. Applications include in situ resource utilization on the Moon and Mars to produce propellant and human-consumable oxygen as well as any life support system that requires 100% oxygen recycling capability.
